What makes you think it's Pianoteq?

 

 

The soundcaracter rules out the Kurz, Yammie and Roland, and it doesn't sound quite as rich as Akoustic Piano and Ivory. Don't know about Truepianos though.

 

The sound reminds me of Pianoteq very much.

I agree with that. I also have Akoustik Piano and it is indeed richer and even more realistic, but Pianoteq plays better IMO. :)

I love it for playing solo, but it doesn't cut through when playing with my band.. Luckily my Kurz PC2r should be arriving next week :thu:

No love for the Fusion pianos, especially that C3? I love mine and it cuts through pretty well.

 

evildragon, I'm late to this thread, I was going to say Pianoteq right away because:

1. You always say you don't have money right now to buy any of the above; and

2. The Pianoteq has a 1-month free trial :D

 

Is that you playing by the way? Some good runs in there.
