Members Birdienumnum
Well, I've played Pianoteq since it was 1.0, and I recognized it.
Members Tomkeen
What makes you think it's Pianoteq? The soundcaracter rules out the Kurz, Yammie and Roland, and it doesn't sound quite as rich as Akoustic Piano and Ivory. Don't know about Truepianos though. The sound reminds me of Pianoteq very much.
Members evildragon
Haha. Bacon is the solution for everything! Awesome Yes, it's Pianoteq's Erard instrument model. Sounds the best to me. Too perfect.

I also have Akoustik Piano and it is indeed richer and even more realistic, but Pianoteq plays better IMO.

I love mine and it cuts through pretty well. evildragon, I'm late to this thread, I was going to say Pianoteq right away because: 1. You always say you don't have money right now to buy any of the above; and 2. The Pianoteq has a 1-month free trial Is that you playing by the way? Some good runs in there. I like Kurzweil better The KPR pianos, while being really great, aren't quite my taste. Not enough detail and warmth I guess
Members Megakazbek
What makes you think it's Pianoteq? It's hard to mistake the distinctly synthesized character of Pianoteq for a realistic piano sound.
Members Delicious Lamprey Problem
The only soft pianos I've tried are Pianoteq and Art Vista. I far, far, far prefer Art Vista. But Pianoteq loads in like a nanosecond.
