Members Sad Darwin
http://www.keyboardmuseum.org/play.html When I was in recording school this guy brought in some of his vintage analogs and various boards and demoed them for us. It's a terribly designed website but an interesting place, as it's just a massive museum of almost every significant synth made. Next time I'm in town I'm going to go. I suggest you do too if you're ever in the area.

Members The Real MC
Where did all the gear go? flea-bay? Yup, most of it went to flea-bay and to his divorce attorney. A damn shame, I've visited the place and it was excellent. Nice guy who didnt deserve to get taken to the cleaners by his scheming golddigging wife. Nice guy who didnt deserve to get taken to the cleaners by his scheming golddigging wife. He's a great guy, I hope he still has his studio......... and wait a minute, it was registered as a non profit, how could she take that type of asset. Do the owners of art museums have the same problem?
Members The Real MC
Doesn't matter whether a business is non-profit or not. It is likely he started the business while he was married. Any assets acquired during the marriage is considered marital, whether for personal or for business use. So if he bought all that gear for the museum during the marriage, it's marital. So she is entitled to half the assets. Even if he sold it to finance his legal war chest, the value of those sold assets still has to be recovered. When I got divorced 95% of my musical gear was pre-marital so she couldn't touch it. But the house was marital and I had to sell it. Great deal, innit? It's rigged against men and women exploit it to extort early retirement and a free meal ticket. That's why I refuse to get married again - until the system is fixed.
