so he says that if you suddenly have an idea when you're 'anywhere doing anything' and you're out of the studio then you pull out the 3 octave keyboard that you just happen to have in your pocket and start recording. WTF? :idk:

this board has many WTF factors.

i reserve the right to GAS for one though, if i so choose.

Laptop bag/backpack. I'm sure you'll see that as an accessory real soon if it's not already there yet.

Looks pretty decent to me. My only complaint is that it's a little larger than I'd like.

I see no reason for an ipod doc and the reason to go with knobs instead of the x/y pad for kaoss effects is obviously to keep the size down. Also flash as a storage media is pretty much dead, if you have to have something use a usb stick. It wouldn't suprise me if this supports one. It looks like it has enough storage space on board where that really isn't much of an issue anyway.

More electribe like features would be nice but you can't really tell from the video what it can do so they may be there.

said it on first day and i'll say it again, i'm so getting this one. for me, the sp404 was completely unusable, which is strange because of all the favorable reviews i'd read. i really think these samplers all do similar things these days, kinda like how DAW's resemble each other. but for example, plenty of times i'm using my MPC and i thought, 'wow i really which i had something even simpler, was battery operated, had keys attached, and a mic ready to go'. sometimes the toy factor can be just the thing to get ideas going.

Yes, as was obviously what was implied in my criticism. When I said ugly, I meant that functionality / quality doesn't matter to me.

wasn't directed at you... it was the UGLY - DO NOT WANT post but didn't want to call him out directly.

Ooops. Look like I just did.

Hmmm, I wouldn't call it butt ugly, agreed those end cheeks look rather bad, but It looks like it has everything to hand, functional and ready to dive straight in.

I think thats good
:idk:

Looks are very important to rock musicians. I won't buy a keyboard unless it matches my elevator shoes, flare pants, and hipster-approved shirt.

Oh, here's the official product page:

Anotehr Korg sampler running at 48 kHz, it made the Triton a hassle to work with (and to connect digitally to) another one to be added to the list, are all Korgs running on the same processor (something old based on a DAT chip)? Moving samples to and from it will be "fun".....
