Members tedmich
Great Project, lots of resources out there, a quick Google of Pedalboard DIY, gives:http://www.instructables.com/id/multi-layer-pedal-board-for-guitar~/http://www.diyguitarist.com/DIYStompboxes/NewPedalBoard.htmhttp://oooferdieooo.multiply.com/journal/item/3http://www.engadget.com/2005/07/12/how-to-build-your-own-pedal-board/3 even a few on the youtube: Most of the parts can be got at HomeDepot, or online at McmasterCarr.com, if you want to get fancy with electronics, check Mouser, Digikey or many surplus dealers (I can post links) Cheers
Members graymc
A lot of guys do quickie boards using masonite pegboard. I found a modular metal pegboard at Wal Mart recently that works great. Along with having the grid of holes it had a rim and crossmembers that give you about 3/4 of an inch of height on it so you have room for zip ties and such (It's actually designed to go on top of a solid wall and still have room for the inserted hangars). I use zip ties so I can rearrange it from time to time. Some pics:

Members WRGKMC
I coverd mine with carpet, the kind used in autos. Then I used velcro to stick the pedals to the carpet. Only half (The hard Plastic side) of the velcro is needed and it clings to the carpent when stuck to the bottom of the pedal. I made mine with a partial double teer to hide and protect the power supplys and still have room for the wah/volume.

I usually use velcro but if you don't want to stick anything to your pedals the zip ties are a good way to go.
