Just recovered my classic 50 410 last week. Here is the link to the guide that I followed. it came out great. Great tip on using latex flooring adhesive it allows you to reposition the tolex if you don't get it lined up just right.

You also have the option of using 3M spray glue that tacks up within a minuite or two and and then you can trim the excess with a razor knife afterwards which is how I do it. I get a much better fit and dont have to be as perfect measuring it out ahead of time.
