Members UMT
Has anyone tried one of these GFS onboard clean boosts? I use a Marshall Bluesbreaker (Boost function only) pedal and I really wish I could have a boost onboard so I didn't have to deal with a pedal at all. Has anyone tried the GFS product or seen a schematic to build one and done it???? Thanks!
Members WRGKMC
Try these, they are way cheaper and work great. http://www.guitarfuel.com/active_tone_circuits.php

Has anyone tried the GFS product or seen a schematic to build one and done it???? Thanks! I haven't used the GFS boost but I do use a Jim Kaufman (Sunrise Pickups) boost in my Don Grosh Strat. I love it because I like having fewer pedals but the downside is the battery! Changing it is such a pain and I'm not cutting up my Strat for a rear quick mount battery compartment. Members sailorman
I built a Stratoblaster from General Guitar Gadgets. I use it primarily to even the levels when switching from my SG with P90's which are louder than my 71 Strat pups. The boost is just about perfectly clean.
