Delay question: My delay seems to be a bit too loud on the first repeat (Memory Toy)

I own the EHX Memory Toy. I actually returned the first one I had because the blend knob introduced a whistle. The second one I got has no whistle, but it sounds like the first repeat is too loud, louder than the original note.

Anyone know if this is something that can be adjusted with a trimpot? Which trimpot would that be?

Every delay unit I've ever worked with had a control that controlled the amount of signal sent to the delay line. On the EHX Memory Toy, I'd suggest turning down the blend control to reduce the volume of the repeats.
