Members Polyrhythm
I'm not sure if these drums are Slingerland. Their are no badges on the drums. The bass drum is most questionable as I noticed extra holes drilled inside the shell, the wrap covers the extra holes on the outside. It looks like the bass drum shell started out as an 8 lug, not as a 10 as it is now. The mount on the tom has Slingerland engraved on it. No extra holes in the tom shell. The interiors are white on both the bass drum and tom. The lugs and tension rods look correct, but I'm still not sure. I sold the matching snare drum a few months ago and it also did not have a badge, the top hoop had Slingerland Radio King inscribed on it.I am asking $150 total for the rack tom and bass drum. Is that a fair price? The bass drum heads are Calf Skin having the Leedy/Ludwig logo on them. One guy offered to buy the two 22" Calf Skin heads as he was a Ludwig guy. Would I be better off just parting these drums out?
Members 1001gear
The tom hoops appear authentic as do the lugs and bass rods. The giveaway is the mounting hardware. All Slingerlands circa 1960/70 without mounting hardware would invariably go crashing to the floor during setup.
