Mr. Rumstick,

Our records show that you were indeed passed over as there was no indication of the $500 entry fee ever having been posted. However in the interest of public relations, an account has been created in your name for immediate disbursement of ll due awards. You need only submit the outstanding $500 plus an additional non compliant entry waiver fee of an additional $500 to start the award process.

Well, I only have to put up $1,000. to find out. It's gotta at least be some cymbal felts or moon gels, or something...

Maybe a commemorative guitar pick?

Knowing the sponser as I do, I think ya may be pushing it. Maybe a nice lint ball.:p

Don't know of any drum battles. They're too bloody for me, anyway, although once you've witnessed childbirth you can handle anything.

Meanwhile, if you want something to show for yourself, how about entering a grammar, punctuation and run-on sentence battle?

Competitive drumming is for mirror kissing faggots. Make music or don't make music. If you want to win something, become a pro wrestler.

That ain't winnin'. That's the art of the deal - remedial division.

And YOU wretch, (kidding) the most common kind of slinger today is the kick ass variety. Usually clueless about music as well.

I mean wresting is just a show. The 'winners' just have starring roles. And cool, solos differ from beats. There's a ton more to it - soft stuff included. Course you can play it like wrestling. Be a big rock jock. You won't get a lot of encouragement here.

Wyncha just post some video. Since you've already stated your purpose, i'm sure many here would happily venture their expert opinion.

Instead of a contest of who has more chops and talent, hows bout posting some videos to sharing some licks and chops, and help out your drumming brothers (and sisters) and further advance the drumming community. Pay it forward kind of thing..

It's way better to give than to receive.
