Members cdawg
i must admit, i despise most country, especially pop-country, but i do have respect. i couldn't play most of that sh*t without some serious 'sheddin'. i do enjoy some cash, cline, etc. but don't lump me into the ignorant category, i listen to a lot of diverse stuff. aside from that, stuff your big fat, license plate-for-a-belt buckle, mailpouch chewin', rawhide ass back into your ford F2fitty, and go back to yer trailer park, you f**kin' wife-beatin', dirty wal mart kid-makin', meth-shootin', country music lovin', mullet wearin' slackass. Members Mogwix
a couple years ago me and some dudes from my college needed some money, so we all got together, wrote some real cliche, sappy-ass country music, recorded a quick demo, then hit the local bar scene. in a month we made about 10 grand. All my music career I've been told... "if you wanna make money... play country". I have a lot of respect for a lot of these country musicians... they're definitely top notch, but the industry as a whole is sickening. As far as I'm concerned modern pop country is as bad or worse than modern hip-hop and rap. Country music nowadays is so processed and fake, and the legions of fans keep raving about how "real" and "honest" the music is... it's anything but! Throw any bastard with a pretty face and twangy voice in the top recording studios with top engineers and producers, put them on stage with the world's top touring musicians and fans will eat that {censored} up. I still listen to haggard, jones, twitty, cash, williams, and friends... but every time I hear a modern country song I can't help but swipe hopelessly as another piece of my soul goes slipping away, sucked into the radio by these fake country stars.
