Members marko46
I've never played 'em Pin, but for a "C" note, I can't see ya getting hurt. Someone hear has 'em or has played 'em I'm sure.
Members shnoodle
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the pair i tried. Extremely clangy and heavy, on slightly better than ZBTs. Although, I found that using the dyno beat bottom with a different top that is much thinner makes a pretty good combo.

Members jadz01
would 13" sabian aa fusions be a better choice? That depends on what music your playing. dyno beats are pretty heavy arent they? Like two bottom hats ? the other guys in the band will love em. lol. I can't go past my new beats, but its personal choice a suppose. good luck

Members twosticks
a youtube with 14" dynobeats in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UV8FOCV-FMA My opinion is that if you are playing Metalicca and heavier type music, then they would be the thing. An addition of the old Z series. For most other types of music, they would not be the thing. Too much like manhole covers for regular rock and less aggressive type music. So at $275 retail and other new at $164 and general used being around $99, yeah is pretty much a deal for the 14" if all you play is the heavier metal music. Otherwise, not so much because these hats just won't fit in as well. Hope this helps.
Members twosticks
would 13" sabian aa fusions be a better choice? In my opinion, yes, unless you play constant heavy metal.
Members skinthrasher
Grab ya up some New beats a much better choice in my op. I've got two sets like em both although one set is a little crisper! I bought both sets off Ebay at different times for less than a Franklin! Members soundcreation
My first "good" set when I was a kid were z dyno beats cause I was a Lars fan. What a mistake. They really are {censored}. One dimensional and they don't even do that very well...(metal). Look around some more.
Members AluminumFalcon
Yeah the only non-metal drummer who I've seen was Greg from Tokyo Police Club (Canadian Band). He laughed when I told him those were the "Lars" hats. I'd definately reccomend the AA Fusions, or even better a used (think hollow stamp era) set of New Beats.
