Ion Block Rocker for a singer?

Hi everyone, newbie here

Wasn't too sure where to post this, so please move or suggest other places to post if this isn't the best one - and thanks in advance for any info.

I sing, and have been singing for years classically in choirs etc. I am a wanna-be band singer and got to guest with a rock 'n' roll band recently. Marvellous, but couldn't hear myself! I read the singers threads with same problem and already knew I wanted to buy something to be my own practice amp/fold-back/monitor.

Having seen this ION product, it looks like it might be it. Does anyone have one / have experience of one to tell me what the sound quality is like?

Apparently it has some volume, and it's 30s, 40s, 50s music I want to sing - not heavy metal. It doesn't have any effects, like reverb, so my voice would be fairly 'nude'. There is no Spanish distributor (haven't found one and Ion haven't bothered replying to my query to them), so I have to have it shipped from France or the UK which ups the price somewhat. And if it's no good then I lose that shipping money on resale. Any information gratefully received - thanks guys.
