Members drumnhands
The Marketing Manager for our electronic drums has asked us to pass this link to a survey they are taking to our friends who play drums. If you have a couple of minutes, the information would be appreciated. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/EDRUMSURVEY2011

If I select that I have a smartphone, then I need to identify which kind. I type in Blackberry to your "other" option and the site doesn't accept that I've answered the question. Hence, I can go no further.
Members kmart
There's other issues as well... On Page 7 (Both Use): In the first question, you're asking to rank (although you use 'rate'; there's a big difference in research application) 6 items, and have spots for 7. In the second question, 8 items, 9 spots. I'd offer additional feedback on how you could improve your survey to maximize response quality, but don't believe in giving away more than a taste for free. HOWEVER... I AM a Market Research professional with 15+ years of experience in qualitative and quantitative project management, on the supplier and client side of things, currently focused on online communities and social media... I'm completely capable of creating online surveys such as yours and more than fmiliar with the tools offered by various providers out there...Including SurveyMonkey, which I use almost daily... And a drummer who uses both acoustic and electronic drums... And a Yamaha customer... If you're hiring, I'd be happy to talk further.

Members kmart
Hey, my job is good to me, but I would MUCH rather work for a company I have a real-world interest in, and unfortunately, it's been a LONG LONG time since Chicago was home to numerous drum manufacturers, so... Members zildjian@consol
I have never liked electronic drums.I practice with one band on theirs, Motown/dance band.I hate that thing. It doesn't feel like drums,it doesn't set up like drums,it sounds bad and the cymbals, black Frisbees, suck. There is absolutely no touch or feel to the thing, you just bash it. Members pljones
Question 4: I've got everything I want already on my PC and the question is "forward looking" so none apply. However, I can't leave it unanswered...

Members WildWes
Took the survey. Yeah, I hate playing them too. Too hard to decide what drummer/kit you want to sound like and what time of day/night to play without worrying about the neighbors. But it keeps me playing. Those are roto-toms with Quartz piezo/foam cones under the Hart mesh rdrummer322. The previous kit utilized Pintech crossbar/foam tower/piezo drop-in kits under Hart mesh. Pintech dual-zone drop-in unit: Quartz piezo/foam cone in roto-toms: Jack plates on the roto-toms: Kick purple sparkle paint w/JamminSam wrap sample for match-up:
