The drums almost sound real (nice job with Reason), the piano/keys sounds amazing, and the vocal sound you got is incredible for the gear used. The Blue preamp sounds really nice.. Makes me think I could get good vocal sounds like this if I wasn't using my Mbox pre's.. What kind of room did you do the vox in? As far as the mix, the only thing I would raise a little bit is the semi distorted guitars. The are a little drowned out by the rest of the song IMO. Great stuff though! Keep it up
  2. I tried to listen to many of the MP3's everyone has put up here, but I must be missing a plugin on my computer, cause a lot of them didn't work.. Everything I did hear sounded great though. First off, I am here to get any kind of constructive criticism or praise. Whether is be about the recording, songs, or anything. Anyone is welcome to comment, please do! I have worked in studios here and there for about 6 years. I write, produce, record, and play everything you will here on this page. I use the Digi MBox, POD XT for guitar, Bass Direct into Mbox, a Rode NTK through the Mbox, and don't have many plugins or any outboard gear for that matter. The guitar you hear is a cheap Ibanez, and I just got a nice semi-hollow Schecter. No isolation for the vox and when solo'd you can hear quite a bit of room. Anyhow, enough of my babbling..
