  1. So many Jems back then. 5K for one is steep. I think I would rather save that for an ES355. But thank you for the heads up. I'll definitely check out that jem sell site. Good looking out. That site reminds me of Ibanezrules that was started by a guy named Rich. Knew him from the early days of Jemsite.
  2. I mention the PBK because of all the hundreds of guitars I've owned, that one hurts to have traded it. Old school Monkey Grip. Rosewood with Pyramids? God knows what they go for now....
  3. I will say that a few names are familiar when looking at topics. I don't remember my log in name. But I always said I was from Iowa and then I was a rabid Cincinnati Bengals fan. Times changed and the team changed. Stories for everything. In my 20s and 30s I traded guitars here and on Jemsite. Jemsite was cool but everything changes. But i also was a guitar tech for a friend of mine who is in a pretty big band from here. I think then that made me cool. Now? Whatever. Cool experience but we all walk an important path. Mine is no more special than anyone else's. So I would trade at least once or twice a month. I had a list but I lost it. Last number was 137 I had owned and traded. It was fun but it was a byproduct of a very unhappy mind. Couldn't see it then. But my life was crumbling around me and the hunt gave me something to do instead of fixing the problem. If I just have a Jem PBK I'll be good. Got one. Wasn't good. So I learned a lot from those years. Now days I have like.... I don't know.... 10 to 13 guitars? All of them I've had for a few years or longer. I don't trade. Like I said things are different. But it's cool to reconnect and see what is what. I love me some Japanese Seiko Divers now. So what could induce a trade is a nice automatic watch.
  4. I had one of those a long time ago. Cannot remember what I traded it for. Free bump. Can't seem to swing trading you my LP Traditional for it but it is a cool guitar.
  5. Well I wasn't proud of my behavior back then but I'm a different cat now. Thanks for the welcome...
  6. Hello all, I haven't posted here in like 20 years. Did a lot of trading here in the 90s and early 2000s. So many Ibanez Jems. Anyway I remember leaving this forum because people seemed to argue a lot. Argue opinion as fact. I was guilty as well. But I'm 20 years older. Still love guitars and wanted to connect somewhere with people that share my interests. My name is Scott and i live in Des Moines, Iowa.
