STINGER bass - Can anyone tell me anything about this bass?

The Martin Stinger basses were made in Korea by the Samick piano company. They were made to Martin specifications. The quality was so so. Some were very good and some of them were not so much. These were made in the mid-80's. If you find a good one...HOLD on to it. It is a classic. ...and a Martin for you acoustic players. Just sayin'
