My black body, white pick guard fender mexican strat is named Carmen for multiple reasons actually. Firstly, mexican name, mexican guitar. Secondly, just thought the name went with the colours and most importantly Carmen was a girl I had an online long distance friendship/ kinda relationship with for a few months but then she decided to try and micromanage me and my friend's lives from the other side of the world which resulted in a quick block and a few weeks of frustration. As soon as I named her I instantly felt more connected and more compelled to play just cause the name fit so well despite the name being connected to a not so great memory.
