Well, believe it or not, this thread got nuked again. Such an Epic thread I'd hate to see it go.
So we begin again. Luckily, I kept the first post it did:
Over on an Airstream forum, we have fun with a thread like this, and I thought it would be perfect for harmony central.
Use a word from the song title or artist to make the next song title and artist.
It must be a track not the title of an album and you must not use the same artist in consecutive posts.
Example:-
Black Night - Deep Purple
This could be followed by:-
Paint it Black - The Rolling Stones
But this could not be followed by - Brown Sugar by the Rolling Stones because this was also by the Rolling Stones
You can also use the artist name as the next association, like
Paint it Black - The Rolling Stones
Could be followed by -
On the Cover of the Rolling Stone - Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show
Get the idea?
Right Lets start it off then -
"We Will Rock You"
— Queen
PS: Include a video link if at all possible as It is quite nostalgic going through and watching as we relive the great songs that get posted.

Welcome!
May I suggest you do a few things -
First, I am not a doctor so check with them first before you do anything.
The thing you would need to consider is how advanced is your arthritis? Is it reformative or crippling in any way? As I've grown older (now 53) I get joint (wrist, knuckle and elbow) pain when and while playing. I usually combat this with a tylenol before playing and after playing, I use something from Aveda (the hair care line) called Active Oil. Think of it as an all natural bengay.
You may want to research the Moeller technique as well. Using all fist and arm can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome (I have a friend going through this now, and he can no longer grip a stick it has gotten so bad).
But lastly, I'll say this: Where there's a will, there's a way!

We are here for you and your questions. Remember: there are no stupid questions. We are also pulling for you!
Keep us posted.

Let me get with Craig Anderton to answer your question. He is a classically trained sitarist (for real).

I think we are seeing a growing resurgence of any small self contained instrument that can be easily transported. Back-packer style guitars, Cajons, harmonicas, and yes, accordions.
-
I do believe that this song was indeed recorded by Hal Blaine, but rumors have it that it was recorded by this drummer:
Happy Halloween Guys!

So, I have started to compile the list.
If you guys will PM me your real names, addresses, and e-mail addresses, we'll see how many participants we have and get this box started!

I am going to sticky this thread. Let's get a list of at least 20 participants and I'll kick off the first box.

Harmony Central is all about helping you make better music, but as they say, the proof is in the pudding. So we want to provide you with an audience for your music in Music Gear Weekly, our email newsletter with over 25,000 subscribers. Here’s how it works:
- Upload the song(s) of your choice to a service like Soundcloud.
- Visit this thread in the Backstage With The Band forum and post the link to your music, along with some background on the song, how it was recorded, gear used, etc.
- Each week, we’ll look through what’s been posted and pick one to feature in Music Gear Weekly. We’ll create a blog post on the main site where the community can comment and provide constructive feedback on your music (non-constructive comments will be deleted).
It’s that easy! So whether it’s questions about production, songwriting, performance or musicianship, the best way to make better music is to bounce it off listeners and get honest opinions. Get to it!

Look, I'll step this up a notch. You guys see if you can rally some of the old-timers back. Get us about 20 that want to participate and I'll start this with something extra nice.
