Where you put them will depend on the case itself and where there is sufficient room for them. I normally put two in each acoustic guitar case. One goes behind the headstock, and the other goes near the neck heel - the main reason for those locations? That's where there's enough room to place them. Putting them inside the accessory compartment is another possibility, but that would probably be less effective at humidifying the actual guitar...
