  1. blackstar ht-5 combo in excellent, pretty much perfect condition. never removed from my bedroom since I got it. rarely played cranked. I have the floor pedal and the original box and so forth.

the price on these went up recently. they're listed at $500 new on musician's friend, plus you have to pay shipping because it's considered a large item.

    I'm asking $330 shipped.

here's some sound clips I recorded, going straight into the ht-5 and using its stock speaker (different times, so dials and mic placement weren't the same)

  2. I haven't been playing much at all, so I'm liquidating. Need money to finish my Hot Rod, so no trades on this stuff guys.

Yamaha SG1000, 2008 model, she's mint and very hard to find Black. They're $1999 @ MF and they don't even sell the black. Plays like butter and sounds amazing. $1200 shipped and paypal'd.

this yamaha is amazing. I've always wanted one. god damn me for not having a lot of money. this is a good buy.

  3. too lazy to take pics now, will later, but I've got...

    EDIT: MEAN 90 SOLD

GFS Mean 90 Bridge pickup, chrome, like new w/ box etc, has full length of lead wire... $20 shipped. great pup but I sprang for some pure 90s so I don't have a spot for this one anymore in my jag.

a set of first act lola humbuckers... these have earned a great rep as awesome pups.. I just don't use humbuckers these days. kind of a paf sound with plenty of low end. big warm sound. can't go wrong. asking $20 for the pair (bridge and neck positions), shipped. they have all the lead wire that they came out of the lola with (should be plenty).

  4. this is a custom made gibson melody maker pickguard (fits perfectly on the reissue melody makers currently available in stores) that is cut to accomodate a full sized humbucker in the bridge. it has never been used and has the protective plastic wrap on it still.

I paid $50 to get this and ended up never needing it. I'll sell for $20 shipped. if you think you might need this at some point, grab it up now.

  5. I haven't been properly reporting some past transactions, so I was hoping I could do a bit of catch up. these are fairly recent deals, within the past couple months.

JohnnyRaincheck +1 -- bought a lola from him, honest guy

wagdog +1 --- sold a pedal to him, fast payment, another stand up guy

rrancani+1 -- he sold me a proco rat. honest stand up guy.

there's a few others I forgot to report, I'll be working on that. I need to make sure to always be giving credit when it's due from now on.

  6. when it comes to locking in a sale, it's either show me the money, or state VERY explicitly that you're in. short of those, I'll sell to someone else. I had the impression that you'd probably buy it at some point, but someone else had cash in hand.

I don't like taking chances. if someone has cash in hand and you turn them away, they might not come back. I need the cash.

  7. it's all good buddy. we all lose our cool from time to time.

I tend to have kind of a succinct selling style. I avoid whenever possible playing buyers against eachother, for example, "hey I got someone else on the line, you in or not?" because it always leaves the buyer wondering if I'm lying or not. So I just don't even do it. The person who pays first gets first, unless a buyer specifically says he's 100% going to buy and to give him x time to pay.

And I honestly thought you were still unsure on the purchase.

  8. -1 for TWOTIMINGPETE (appropriate name here) I was going to buy his BGBucker and I was just waiting for him to get back to me on the length but told him I would take it if the length wasn't too short. I leave to go to the Living Colour show in New Port Richey and sign on today to find out the jerk sells it so someone else. What kind of scum does this seriously? I have had this happen 5 or 6 times in the last month or so. Does our word mean nothing anymore and is it pure greed for money that dictates anything. I have nothing good to say for people like this.

Last week I drove 30-40 miles to pick up a Olympic weight set from some schmuck on Craiglist that I AGREED to buy the day before via email after I confirmed the condition was good based on the pictures he sent. That SHOULD be a done deal right? I drive down there and call the scum bag 5 minutes before I get to his house as was his instructions only to get a rude, "It's been sold." BS. When I told him we had a freaking agreement I was buying it, he was like, "It's not my problem..." I half wanted to go to his house then and beat the crap out of him, but I am not going to jail for some scum bag and their crooked ways. Yeah two-timing pete, you are living up to your name for sure buddy. Have a nice life and if this is the way you do business, you're going to need it you freaking jerk.

This is inaccurate and frustrating. I already told him the length of the lead. I already advised him that I can't ship until monday and that he had time to think about it unless someone else swooped in. Well, someone else swooped in. He NEVER committed to buy. I still have the messages and quotes if anyone doesn't believe me. The buyer of the item was also told before he bought that someone else was "considering" the item, but hasn't committed. I'm not trying to give ANYONE a hard time. No sale was ever final or implied to be final with Fusion.

Here's one of my later messages to fusion during the negotation:

it has the spring and the screws that came with it. it also has the full lead (I never shorten leads) which is pretty long. I can't measure it until I disinstall it from the axe it's in.

my car broke so I may not be able to ship until Monday.
so you have time to think about it unless someone else swoops in.

    thanks,

    Matt

Note "unless someone else swoops in". This sale was never final, and I even told him someone else can still buy it.

If you wish to spend time debating whether you want to buy something, someone else may buy it first. That's reality.

He proceeded to throw a big tantrum and call me names over PM. I never insulted him in any way, and I still haven't.

to fusion, I'm sorry that someone else bought the item before you did. My best advice to you is if you really want something badly, jump on it before someone else does, especially if the seller communicates to you that the item is still up for grabs. Don't go smearing people on the forum over stuff like this. It's not cool. Furthermore, this thread is for transactions. We had NO transaction, so what exactly are you polluting this thread for?

I have dealt with numorous people on this forum and sold dozens of guitars over ebay over the years. I'm always honest with people and have never ripped anyone off. I don't need extra bull{censored} in my life.
