Yesterday I got suckered into a "writing emails" instructional class at work. My managers who knew what it was, told us it was a business writing class, and I thought to myself, I need to brush up on writing memos for my exams coming up. Whenever a presentation/class begins with: Say your name Your position Who you send emails to A fun fact about yourself My respect level for it drops severely. It would have been fine, but it was 3 hours, and all of it should have been learned throughout grade school. The people that really needed to take it (i.e. my manager who speaks broken english, who commonly says... "you don't suppose to do this") We complained to our other manager, and he just laughed at us, and said that we were more than willing to go. I will jello his phone.

Waiting for the PM to see if they dude accepts your "offer" on an instrument sure does blow.
