Members thunder100
Hi can anybody explain me why the screws where you adjust the length of the strings are in this tremolo version (dont know the name) are NOT at the string center but outside the string center. One may asume that center would be better thanks for enlightening me Roland
Members GCDEF
Looks like the center is drilled out for the string hole. They need to use the side to get enough depth for the screw.

Members GilmourD
The intonation adjustment screws were drilled offset like that due to some people having a problem where the center screw would come in contact with the string if it was screwed all the way in. If the screw's offset then you don't have this problem. I never had that problem myself with vintage style or other center-screw saddles, but that's just me.
