Members Belva
Normally, I'm totally against the whole relic thing. But I may have a use for relicing after all. I'm doing a hardtail conversion (pics in DIY forum) & plan on using an old Kalamazoo neck. The neck is too nice to refinish but doesn't look new. When I refinish the body, maybe a small amount of relicing/aging would be in order. Old neck on a shiny new guitar is like wearing army boots with a tuxedo. Any thoughts? Plus the neck isn't worth alot of $$ now, but what about later? A refinish might destroy future value. Maybe just a satin finish on the body?
