Members Glenn F Posted March 21, 2009 Members Share Posted March 21, 2009 I feel a bit of an attention whore, but, fwiw; The Artcore Custom didn't work out. It wouldn't stay in tune, and had some sort of unleasant reverbration when strummed with a bit of energy. I couldn't find any obvious reason for these problems. This was a bit of a disappointment. My Artcore AS103NT was perfect out of the box, and I expected this to be. Unfortunately, it wasn't. So, I schlepped back to the shop this afternoon, and got this; Hagstrom HJ-800. Solid spruce top. The fret ends are a bit sharp, the wiring needs to be tucked away, and it could do with a set up, but it is staying in tune and not giving me some elusive rattling noise.
