Members Karma1 Posted March 30, 2009 Members Share Posted March 30, 2009 That's one of my favorite songs and although it differs from the original, I liked his take on it - especially how he was able to weave elements of the melody in while playing the chord changes. I used to play that song in a band but went the other direction and really simplified it. I just played the chords unarpeggiated with a muted staccato strum on the lower strings with a bit of chorus and delay and it sounded good - kind of like Stevie Nick's Edge of Seventeen.
