Members JohnnyRaincheck
I've googled around and even watched that youtube video of the chick explaining the controls of the recent Fender Friday Jag, but I am not getting it. when you flip that top switch, it sounds fuller and deeper. Does that mean when the switch is down, the neck pickup is split into a single? It doesn't really sound like a single coil. and what does that switch on the end really do? I can't tell any difference with it up or down. this facepalm is for embarrassment
Members soldierblue
Top switch is the switch between the lead and rhythm (neck only) circuits. The rollers next to the top switch are the volume and tone controls for the rhythm circuit. The three other switched control the pickups for the lead circuit. Going from the top (as in the pic) the first switch is the on/off for the neck pickup, the second is the on/off for the bridge pickup and the third switch is the "strangle switch" which cuts some of the bottom to accentuate the high end. Unless they wire HB Jags differently.
