Members jkg
I installed today a pair of texas specials to a fender strat I have, just the neck and middle pickups, on the bridge i have a SD JB, I installed them as the manual says, but on the bridge/middle position there's the out of phase sound, kinda like a cocked wah...but with less volume, how do I correct this??? Members Wyatt
Reverse the green and black wires on the SD. If, once you have swapped these wires, you find the middle/bridge position doesn't hum-cancel (assuming you are splitting coils in that position), then you would have to swap the neck and middle PU's, This is because SD's idea of "reverse" wiring and polarity (RWRP) is Fender's idea of "normal" wiring and polarity and vice-versa.
