A for month and 2 for week. I've used it before myself. Here's a link. http://ozvalveamps.elands.com/valvecodes.htm Didn't look it up but the top three tell you the decade it looks like. Members nevermind Posted November 10, 2009 Author Members Share Posted November 10, 2009 I used to have an Epiphone class A amp that ran on a single 12ax and a single 5881, so I have a bunch of classic tubes that I would swap around. Swapping tube styles and makes in that thing made a HUGE difference. Might have to build something similar one of these days, I kinda miss it from time to time.
