Members joshmw106
So i am almost 100% sure that i am going to get a 7 string guitar for christmas. first i liked the schecter jeff loomis, but decided that i dont want to spend that much again. Today in guitar center, i played an Ibanez RG7321 which i immediatley loved with the exception of the fixed bridge, and bolt-on neck, and the stock pickups. my first question is: if i were to buy the RG7321, and i wanted to replace the stock pickups, how easy of a process is that? i would like to put similar pickups of the synyster custom, or even try dimarzio. my second question is, if i dont end up wanting the rg7321, are there any recommendations for other decent 7strings between $400-$600? i would rather stay away from schecter this time around also. thank you
Members Kuroyume
Ibanez S7320 is the 7-String electric with floating tremolo bridge (ZR). I don't know of many Ibanez neck-thru-body necks. Replace the pups with whatever. The switching is not stock humbucker. It uses a five-selector switch with various serial, parallel, and single coil taps (see here).
