I was wondering if the process is as straightforward as it is with a Strat? I recently put Texas Specials in my Strat, and that was no big deal, but the structure of the Tele is different. Members strtdv Posted December 23, 2009 Members Share Posted December 23, 2009 It's not really any more difficult than a strat. You need to remove the bridge, but that's easy too. My advice would be to shield all the cavities with copper foil at the same time as you change the pickups and then ground the cavities to the bridge. The control cavity is tighter than a strat, but provided there's a reasonable length of wire on the pickups this shouldn't be a problem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
