Members rakester
Y0! Just wondering if anyone owns an Epiphone Dot and what they think of it. Build quality / sound / playability etc ? Thinking about picking one up Lemme know what you think, thanks

Members expat701
Well, I did own an Epiphone Dot but I later traded it on an Epi Sheraton II. The Dot's are great but the Sheraton is better (looks and feels superior quality). And the Sheri's neck is way better in my hands. Irrespective of Sheratons, the Dot is a great guitar but can be even better with some basic upgrades: proper setup (with fret work if necessary), better nut, better pickups and electrics (pots, caps and wiring). Oh and the Cherry coloured Dot looks awsome with a 5 ply (b/w/b/w/black) Gibson 335 shaped pickguard!!!
Members Akridosity
The Dot itself feels great, very solid, its stock neck pickup sounds great. It's electronics feel a bit flimsy though.

What he said. Mine needs a new toggle switch.
Members snowaie
Yea, the Dot is definitely a solid guitar. Pick it up a lot at my main LMS. Great price, too.
Members dlxrev
I have a Dot Studio that is now my main guitar. Needs new pickups in my opinion but plays nicely.
Members younggun123
I love both the Dot and Dot Studio, currently I only own the Dot Studio but it's amazing. Needs a fret job though, might just have it re-fretted with stainless steel frets
Members younggun123
Oh yeah and they can take a hell of a beating haha I have had it for 4 years and it's been dropped by people onto concrete floors and bumped into brick walls, and you name it can take it haha
