Members feraledge
I've got an ESP LTD FX 400. The strap buttons are in standard positions now (above the neck and center of back). The guitar is a bit neck heavy and if moving the strap buttons helps, I'd like to do it, but I don't feel like drilling needless holes if it won't. Would I be better off moving one to the back under the neck centered on the neck joint or moving the rear button up an inch or so. This seems like simple physics really, but for some reason my brain doesn't seem to be computing it right and I'd rather not chance it. Any one move straps to better locations and get far better neck balance?
Members Armitage
I have tons of Explorers and the best place for a strap button is behind the neck, not beside it (terrible).
Members edremy
If it's really neck heavy there's an easy fix
