Members MisterTV
I have a chance to pick up a nice vintage Grego SG copy with the Gibson "open book" headstock shape. I was doing a little reseach online and was surprised to discover that not all Grecos were made in Japan... apparently some were made in Korea? Short of a "Made in" stamp, are there ways to determine the country of manufacture? Do Korean-made Grecos command the same prices as their Japanese counterparts? Members MisterTV
I only have pics to go by, but it doesn't appear to have a serial #... which leads me to believe it's Korean-made?
Members ten56gibby
That's a beauty, man! There doesn't appear to be one on the back of the headstock. Perhaps in the pickup route cavities? Or control cavity? If you have a way to get the seller or whoever to have a look...
