Members Ryan.
I dropped my guitar off at his San Francisco repair shop to be fixed under the Gibson warranty and I was stoked with their service and expertise. Then I called this week to add a few more details to my order (basically pay them more money for more work) and the dude on the phone was a complete ass. So I'll be keeping my money. Then I went on Yelp and see that for every 4 people that are stoked, 1 person can't stand the place. Whats with guys and their egos that work in guitar shops? Am I rambling? Members Ryan.
I could tell that Gary and another dude there (can't remember his name at the moment) were super cool guys. Explained a lot to me about my guitar. Just the one dude on the phone kinda pissed me off. In this economy you shouldn't be turning away customers who want to hand you money. Members schoolie1
I took my guitar there once. Alan, who works the front counter, is the bassist for the Mermen:love: You might also check out SF Guitarworks, but Brawer is probably the most famous guitar tech in the Bay area and he has a great staff.
