Moderators MrKnobs Posted October 31, 2010 Moderators Share Posted October 31, 2010 ....amongst old 33 1/3 rpm LPs the wife was given. We'll probably just Goodwill it, but the disks are in excellent condition and I can't help thinking there's some vinyl audio freak out there who might want it. Anyone ever heard of this stuff? Members blue2blue
I grew up with the Allied Radio catalog in one hand and the (cheezy) Lafayette Radio catalog hidden nearby. Around here (the west coast), Rat Shack was a distant rumor until Tandy started franchising them out here. And then they were like toadstools. At least I finally had a place to by a leather punch. For ten minutes. Anyhow, I may have had that LP -- is it white with black text by any chance? -- I had a number of test records when I was in junior high (I just couldn't get enough -- glad I did 'cause 18K is just a faded memory at this point, along with 15K and... ) ... and, if I'm not mistaken, that one was reasonably priced at a couple bucks while others were often maximum priced.
