Members bluesnapper
Hey guys, I've been really getting turned on to the idea of picking up one of the new Fender Mustang amps with the intention of recording, making backing tracks etc. Or possibly some sort of POD... Then I can upload some clips and you guys can all marvel at the sheer awesome-ness of my playing. Or not, as the case may be! My laptop is a few years old now - can anyone advise as to whether it'll be good enough to run the required software? Fender FUSE and Ableton? Here's the stats. I think it just about meets the minimum spec that Fender recommend - but will this actually be enough to get the most out of it? Mobile AMD Sempron 3000+ 1024MB DDR-Ram ATI Radeon Xpress 200M with PCI Express Graphics PC2001 Compliant AC97 Audio Integrated Stereo Speakers 40GB HDD Running up-to-date Windows XP. Thanks for your replies (hoping I'll get some!)
Members Into Nation
Just a guess, but I'd say it will probably work... That's P4 Celeron class with 1g of RAM. I suspect you may start running into problems as you try multitracking though. You might be limited at some point.
Members bluesnapper
Cheers! I have absolutely no use for a new amp unless it works with the computer. I suppose I could always buy one and then take it back if it doesn't happen.
