Members ^zilla^
Just wondering if any Torero owners out there have swapped out the stock EMGs yet? I've been toying with the idea for a while...
Members Nephilim-777
First thing I did. But, I moved the 85 to the bridge and put a 60 in the neck. If you go passive, which I will do in the long run, replace the 25 ohm pot too. The EMG are fine for high gain, but I am really starting to not like the cleans tones from them. Members ^zilla^
Yeah, I think the clean tones leave a lot to be desired. I was even debating swapping then 81/85 for 81TWX/89XR pups.
Members wtfg89
how are you guys liking these guitars? hows the neck profile?
Members Mesa/Kramer
PRS needs to offer this guitar with passives as an option.
Members Nephilim-777
The guitars are nice. A little pricey for a MIK guitar. It is a shredder type neck. Thin and wide, neck through construction, 14" radius and a OFR. Not for everyone, but I have Carvin's built with similar specs and knew what to expect from it.
