I liked the Nat better (obviously). Three personal reasons:

1) I like to see the wood grain

2) I intend to gig with this guitar for many years, and unlike paint, if I wear down the wood, there is more of the same color wood underneath

3) I generally wear black on stage, and I like the guitar to show up. I play sax, flute, wind synth, guitar, percussion controller and vocals on stage, and switching instruments is good show-biz. If they can't see it, switching doesn't do any good

4) Of all the DFs on this page http://www.parkerguitars.com/DF-Radial-Neck-Joint-Models/ I actually liked the nat the best.

I got my DF from Funky Munky and they did a nice job. Larry answered all my pesky e-mails and made sure I was a happy camper.
