Members Deadbeat Son
Love mine in my SG, prior to that I had the Rio set installed in an Epi LP. I really don't know how to describe them, other than they make my guitars sound like a Gibby should. (It's been too long since I've installed them, I don't recall the a/b comparison.) I have an Original TX Hum I'll be installing in a custom pine Tele I'm building, but probably won't be able to comment until next spring when the guitar is done. Members Alecto
I have a set in my Carvin H2, which has an alder body, ebony fretboard, 25.5" scale and Wilkinson whammy. They're great pickups; I get a lot of compliments on my tone whenever I'm playing that guitar live. The BBQ is a darker pickup so I'd think it would be a great match for a Strat.
