Members slodge Posted February 27, 2011 Members Posted February 27, 2011 http://www.axlguitars.com/az800.html# I'm an idiot and can't figure out how to post pictures here. But the link works, and at a little over $200, this looks like a nice guitar. Rosewood neck, P90s, Lake Placid Blue, nice body. Right up my alley. What does anyone know about these?

Members Grantus Posted February 28, 2011 Members Posted February 28, 2011 I just had a thread about the same model. Pretty cool looking guitar. I wonder how those Axls play.

Members sk8centilli Posted February 28, 2011 Members Posted February 28, 2011 They've got a couple of USA models now, too.
Members w00dsy Posted February 28, 2011 Members Posted February 28, 2011 i see these all over ebay, i just figured they were cheap mass produced rubbish. I've always liked the slightly distressed look of them. Might be a good modding platform.
Members wagdog Posted February 28, 2011 Members Posted February 28, 2011 I like the distressed AXL's... never bought one tho.
Members Grantus Posted February 28, 2011 Members Posted February 28, 2011 Yeah, the LP-ish USA model looks cool too. Even the Chinese guitar makers are opening up US shops.
