Members noisebloom
I've never even liked the Dead all that much, but I've developed a respect for Bob Weir over the years. I enjoyed the interview a lot. Thanks. I'll check out the Jorma Kaukonen interview as well.

Members bsman
Great interview, Jas. Really happy you posted that. The Dead were sort of a weird phase for me -- I got into them about 1975 or 6, and they (along with guys like Rory Gallagher, Jimi -- of course -- and a few others) helped me through a period where I felt like rock had become (to me) rather empty and meaningless. When "Frampton Comes Alive" I sort of glaze over... Anyway -- these guys were pretty important to me until about 77, when I first heard The Ramones, Elvis Costello, Talking Heads and The Clash and I again found music that was meaningful to me in a personal way again...
