Members GAS Man
I.e. another "play along" instant gratification piece. [video=youtube;uu96-hKU73M]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uu96-hKU73M Rather than me try to copy the tab here, here's the link to what I used to start with. http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/t/tracy_chapman/talking_about_a_revolution_crd.htm The only variation I'm playing with is where it shows this G6______320030 Cadd9__ X32030 Em______022000 D_______XX0232 as the chord formations, I'm playing with also dropping my pinky on the high e on the 3rd fret to add a sustain tone. Then when switching to the Cadd9, I just leave my 3rd finger and pinky planted on the 3rd fret b and e strings and just move my index and middle finger to the A and D strings. Sometimes I'm leaving it there on the Em as well. Now on the D, I play it as shown but hit one D, one Dsus, and one D (and maybe another Dsus), getting that extra bounce to the tone by once again dropping the pinky on the high e at the 3rd fret. I got the idea from these kids that WGH posted in the Classic Rock Riff thread playing Johnny B Goode. [video=youtube;bWSjFlaeAWY] I figured if she can do it, I better be able to learn it. And it is fun, sounds great and definitely another instant gratification guitar piece. Enjoy.
