Members Philfixit Posted July 13, 2011 Members Share Posted July 13, 2011 I found that my Pathfinder sounds better through everything else I've plugged into it. A Bandmaster cab, a homebrew 2 - 12" with Carvin GT-12's (electrically cut in half for 8 ohms), a 16 ohm Greenback, and the Blue Marvel speaker in a Peavey Classic 30. Not familiar with the G12S-50 but I'm sure it would be an improvement! Make sure it's 8 ohms (or higher) for the VOX: if it's a (rare) 4 ohm speaker, you'll blow your amp!
