I think tempests come with grover type machineheads, grover do locking post ones or locking disc type machineheads now. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members billybilly Posted August 17, 2011 Members Share Posted August 17, 2011 Drilling the hole for the roll pin is easy, just make sure you measure correctly and don't go too deep. Nothing looks worse than crooked tuners or holes on the headstock face. I tape my drill bit so it can only go deep enough and when measuring, tap a nail a mm or so into the back of the headstock and remove it to guide the drill.
