Members metal0822
Took some pics, because its new switch tip day for my 78.!! Look at this sexy beast all cleaned up! Some nice birds eye on the top here! Shiny! The inlays on 3 and 5 appear to have aged much quicker than the rest:confused: much more apparent in person. Upskirt:eek: I only got this guitar for the headstock baby:rolleyes: Guess which knobs are original...

Members metal0822
Barely any color left by the second fret. MOJO SHOT!!! Look at that reflection! Pretty nice mahog grain. The pics dont really do much justice to its depth in person. And the big volute. So comfy and helps neck strength at its weakest point. Hope you enjoyed my boredom induced post! Members scott944
I like doing the cleanup/setup/restoration almost as much as playing. Nicely done, sir. A trick I just happened onto -if the small chipped areas bother you: a quick dab from a permanent Magic Marker can do a nice job hiding the chip. Test on scrap, first. Members Tweedledee
Beautiful! People love to dog on Norlin era Gibsons, but there are some real gems from those years. I love that color.
