Members UstadKhanAli
I have an iMac and stream things like Spotify or play tunes. I would like to be able to easily set up a set of speakers outside, just ten feet away, to play this. I was thinking that we could do this via Bluetooth and avoid having to route wires, etc. What's the best way to do this, in your opinion?Would we need this and a set of speakers? Something else? Any help you give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Members UstadKhanAli
This might work as well, as this uses USB and would be convenient. Any advice appreciated. http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-USB-Speaker-Z515/dp/B003VAHYXW/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=KJ4XEN20O0D5&coliid=I2G5MV6346UTDM
Members philbo
It's good to consider how the speakers will be powered - battery? Wired to an amp? Wired to a DC supply? If it's wired to anything, that pretty much undoes whatever good you get from using wireless.... I've been looking for a battery-powered bluetooth speaker that will run for 10 hours or so from a single recharge. Haven't found one yet. If you find one, please let me know.*edit* I see now that the 2nd link actually claims to run 10 hours on a charge. Might have to look into that!
