Members A_Gitarman
I had a small chip in my LP right where my forearm came into contact with the edge... drove me NUTS! I sealed it with a little super glue and smoothed it out with a scotch-brite pad. Worked fine for me You can sort of see it in this pic directly to the left of the tailpiece:
Members billybilly
Not hard, not (or shouldn't) be expensive either. Is the coclour gone? Matching it could be hard otherwise, I would use a little acrylic lacquer. You could even use nail polish or superglue. To get the buff shine use automotive polish. Be careful doing edges, even light sanding takes them down quick. Have you ever finished a neck or guitar before? If not take it to someone.
