Members ITheWitchfinder
Ever since I first listened to Sabbath, I was hooked. Ever since I could use Google Images, I wanted an SG like Iommi. Ever since I learned that he used P90's, I wanted an SG with P90's. But not just a Gibson SG P90 Standard, something rad... out of the ordinary. I recently stumbled upon one of the most beautiful sights ever. A Gibson SG Junior with a Bigsby. I need someone smarter than me to determine whether that one single P90 is enough to keep it heavy. At the moment I am playing through an Orange TH30 with an Orange 2/12 Cab and the sound im going for is along the lines of Sabbath, Sleep, Electric Wizard, Bongzilla.

Members SGRocker30
Yes. I play Snowblind through my 66 Jr with a maestro damn near once a day through my Rocker 30 because it just nails that tone so well. If you need a neck pickup tone, just roll your tone knob down a little.

Basically, what bsman said - rock that Jr.

Members joemonkey
The obvious answer is to replace the P-90 with a Jaguar pickup.

Members joemonkey
I'm just messing around, man. Gibson P-90's are the balls. Just listen to Mississippi Queen for an hour non-stop and then make your call.
