Members bluesnapper
Just received a Hiscox case via eBay - seller didn't own an SG and was only 90% sure it was the SG model - managed to pick it up for slightly cheaper than to be expected. I'm pretty sure it is the right sort of case - accomodates the sloping body/neck angle, has a recess for the central strap button etc. Problem - the guitar fits. Very snug. But it seems like the lid doesn't quite want to close. Taking the strap off helps a little - I have managed to shut the case but I'm concerned that I might be exerting too much pressure on the guitar. Which is never good with any guitar... especially SGs! I suppose the case might have become warped... it is used, but Hiscox cases are pretty much indestructible... Anyone else got a Hiscox SG case? How well do they fit? What should I do?
